Jacey & Steph are so much fun to be around! From the photos below, you’ll definitely be able to see Steph’s larger than life personality and how much she makes Jacey crack up. You can tell they have a ton of fun together, both during our session and in their everyday lives. One of the things they stressed about their session was to just capture their personalities, and I think we were able to accomplish that!
Steph and Jacey were up for anything, and I was so excited when they chose Bok Tower for their session. There’s so much ground to cover, and the options are endless, so we definitely had fun roaming the gardens finding all the good spots! Even though it was pretty cloudy and dull outside, we managed to catch the sun for a brief moment with a gorgeous sunset. Those photos are 100% real too! No sky overlays or substitutes. I made sure to shoot a few underexposed so the colors in the sunset would really shine and they look really cool!
Personalized elements in an engagement session are my favorite too, so I loved Jacey’s custom jean jacket with her soon-to-be last name! A session can only be as personal as you make it, so small elements like custom attire or props will help make your session more personalized.
One part of their story that I really love the most is that they had planned to propose to each other on the same day! Steph proposed on Christmas Eve and put the ring on their dog’s collar…and to her surprise, Jacey pulled out a ring of her own to propose right back! If that doesn’t tell you these two are made for each other, I don’t know what does!
Jacey & Steph, thank you so much for all the laughs and 90s vibes (lol). We CANNOT WAIT for your wedding in January to do it all over again!!!
