Authentic and genuine moments are essential and deserve to be documented with love and respect. Your wedding film shouldn’t just be copy and paste, it should literally tell your genuine love story!

Kindness goes a long way and going above and beyond should be the norm. We don't hesitate to step in and help where we can, even when it isn't in the job description lol!

What we believe:

I’ve had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember. Seriously, it’s no exaggeration! My senior year of high school, I was yearbook editor and I remember this rush of adrenaline anytime I went to any event and got to capture it for the yearbook. Whether it was our school play, the homecoming parade, field trip, sports games, or even just a fun Friday night out with friends, it gave me a sense of pride and accomplishment to photograph it for the world to see and for all to remember it by. (I have SO many cringey Facebook memories thanks to that LOL)

I didn’t realize how powerful of a skill that was until I experienced loss in my own life. When I was fresh out of high school, I had lost 3 of my grandparents within 10 months of each other. Naturally, the first thing anyone looks for when someone passes away are any type of memories, and photos/video are a huge part of that. Thankfully all those years of me annoying my family with a camera came in handy, otherwise I’m not sure what else I’d have left of them other than fading memories in my head. Experiencing such an abrupt loss so early on in life gave me a different prospective about how powerful photos are and what it means to be a photographer. I know what it’s like to have a photo or video be the only thing left, it’s a tangible memory that serves a purpose greater than you’ll ever realize.

I’m not sure I would have ever said as a child my dream job was to be a photographer, even with all the interest I had taking photos, but I always knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur. I actually wanted to own my own Italian restaurant and name it “You wanna PIZZAdis” (how cringe, I know), which is hilarious if you know me because 1. I’m like 500% Irish and only 4% Italian and 2. I have little to no cooking skills (other than watching every single show Gordon Ramsay has ever made. That surely qualifies me as a chef?). If you ask me now I’d tell you being not only an entrepreneur, but a photographer is absolutely what I was put on this earth to do. It’s an honor to do this for our couples and clients. It’s a blessing to do something I love as “work”, (especially with my husband!) and it’s amazing to meet all the wonderful people I get to meet. It’s a dream that I could never have imagined for myself. Being able to do this is the greatest privilege and honor of my life, and I don’t take it for granted. I am grateful that you are here reading this and even considering JNPF for your special day or occasion.

Caution: We often have way too much

Mike, also known as "Mr. Jennifer" "Jenn's Husband" "Grandma's favorite" "That guy that lunges" "Sir carries-all-the-bags" or "Video Guy" is the heart and soul of the film portion of JNP&F. Chances are he's already made you cry while on our films page.

Mike never wanted anything to do with photography. Literally 0% interest. He helped Jenn with yearbook way back when, but he had more interest in music & baseball, which is what he pursued in high school instead. He was the best cheerleader for many years and encouraged Jenn to go after her dreams, but he wanted NO part of a photography business. He occasionally came to sessions or weddings to help carry bags or just for support. He helped with the less fun aspects, like taxes and budgeting. Eventually, he came around, (with a little begging lol!) and told Jenn to teach him how to use a camera so he could help. He caught on rather quickly and before anyone knew it, he was photographing weddings and sessions with Jenn!

It wasn’t until the idea of adding video to the business that Mike really found his love for a camera. Having a bachelor’s in Music Education, not only does Mike thrive in music selection for wedding films, he has quickly become a powerhouse in video production. He has a knack for finding out the most important and vulnerable parts of a relationship and using that to create a story-telling wedding film. His films will make you feel like you know absolute strangers and that’s an amazing talent!!

His favorite part of the wedding experience is watching our couples react to their films. We absolutely adore and encourage video reveal parties when possible, or at least recording your reaction because after months of hard work, it's so rewarding to see a couple not only fall in love with each other all over again, but fall in love with a film that is so unique to them. We don't think many people see their stories as movie material, but the love and passion that goes into every film Mike does makes you realize your journey is an incredible story just waiting to be told.

Jenn & Mike are high school sweethearts and have been together since they were 16! They were married in 2016. Originally from Long Island, Jenn & Mike now live in Orlando with their crazy rescued Foxhound, Freddie. When they aren’t shooting or editing, you can find them at the dog park with Freddie or watching reruns of their favorite shows or baseball. They are huge baseball fans and hope to visit all 30 MLB ballparks someday! They are living proof that a Met and Yankee fan can live in (somewhat) harmony lol!

We have nothing but AMAZING things to say about Jenn and Mike. They truly went above and beyond to ensure our wedding was smooth. Their professionalism, dedication and heart shines through in every aspect of their work. Immediately after meeting them you can see their passion for their job and you can instantly tell that they love their couples. We have gotten so many comments since our wedding about how amazing our videographers were. Everyone who came in contact with them were so impressed. Shortly after Drew and I got engaged we booked with another videographer company and we had such a bad feeling about it. We got no good vibes from them. When we talked with Jenn and Mike we immediately knew we had made a mistake and needed to void our previous contract and go with them. And let me tell you, it was easily the BEST decision we made in our wedding planning process. I cannot recommend them enough. We also want to give a huge shoutout to Mike for spending his 30th birthday working and filming our wedding. If that doesn’t tell you the kind of people they are, I don’t know what will. And finally, if you’re on the fence about video….DO IT you won’t regret it.
