Courtney & Tyler met through mutual friends. They were both in relationships but knew of each other before becoming single. One weekend, they saw each other at a party (that Courtney didn’t even know he would be at!), but she was so excited when she found out he was there too. Tyler had heard through friends that Courtney was interested in him, so he took this party as the opportunity to ask her out on a date. The rest is history!

Courtney & Tyler love doing projects and running errands together. They are simple people and love having a routine and sticking to it (my kind of people :P). They have a pup named Winnie that they enjoy spending time with! One of their favorite places to go to is Texas Roadhouse. I mean who can blame them…those rolls are delicious lol! It’s their local hangout spot and everyone knows them by name there!

Tyler used his 30th birthday party as a decoy to propose. Since all their family and friends were already there to celebrate his birthday, he decided it was the perfect plan to get down on one knee. Not only was everyone together already, it was the perfect way to surprise Courtney, and she didn’t suspect a thing!

When I put Courtney on the spot and asked her what she loves most about Tyler, this is what she said: “Tyler has the absolute biggest heart and would do anything for the people he loves. He is so patient, and we have the best time doing the simplest things together.”

Courtney & Tyler chose to do their engagement session at their venue, Bird Island Lake Ranch, which they will be married at next October. We are so excited to see all your wedding plans come together!
