Aelish and Ian met in England over 25 years ago as teenagers. Last weekend they renewed their vows, 25 years later, the same week they started dated. April 29, April 30 and May 1 all now have meaning to them as these are the dates they went on their first date, got married, and renewed their vows. They celebrate their 15th wedding anniversary this year! It’s a special week for them!

It was an intimate ceremony with just their 3 sons (and very loud boats lol!) at Kraft Azalea Gardens. They chose Kraft because of the large columns in the park, which reminded them of where they had their wedding 15 years ago in England. All 5 of them participated in a sand ceremony, blending 5 colors into one heart symbolizing the life they built together. They wrote a new set of vows to each other and pledged their commitment to each other, once again only this time, in the presence of their children!

We recreated a few of their wedding photos, which was really fun and made a few new memories that we can recreate in another 15 years! 😉 They brought a few signs, some of their wedding photos and “15” balloons. Aelish also had a bouquet made to resemble the original one from their wedding day. It’s the little things like this that help make an occasion like this even more special, and the photos even more memorable!

Aelish & Ian, thank you so much for including me in such a memorable day. I enjoyed my time with your family and I wish you a lifetime of happiness as you begin another new chapter in this beautiful life of yours!
