Mollie and Kevin were married last Saturday and it was such a perfect day. Legacy Lane is a gorgeous venue that provides a “weekend experience” and allows you and your family to actually stay on property for the weekend of your wedding. With access to the entire property, we had many pretty places to get some really great photos! The weather was a bit chilly but it was sunny and perfect in every way.

It’s quite rare that a wedding day goes exactly according to plan, or even runs ahead of schedule…but Mollie planned this day with such care and really went above and beyond to ensure we were able to stay on time. Every single detail was perfectly executed and you could tell just how much time and effort went into their wedding day!

I mean, Christmas is an amazing time of year in general but a Christmas themed Wedding? It really doesn’t get better than that! Pinecones, greenery, black bridesmaids dresses, and lights and trees…. it got me into the Christmas spirit! We, of course, had to kick off the day in true #jennifernicolebride fashion with a confetti pop!

Planning a wedding during 2020 with COVID going on was hard enough, but I’m sure even tougher for Mollie who is a PA. Working long hours for so many months in a hospital taking care of others on top of planning a wedding just proves these two are a force to be reckoned with.

They had quite the support system too, with a bigger bridal party and lots of family there. The family that couldn’t be there were honored at the reception and a special “something blue” in memory of Mollie’s grandfather stitched in her dress. I don’t typically share family photos on the blog but this family photo made me feel like Grandpa Tom was there in spirit to see his girl get married. Elements of Mollie’s grandmother’s wedding dress were also used in Mollie’s! I thought that was so so special.

Even Caley, the venue’s horse made an appearance (otherwise known as Buttercup!)

To finish the night, there was a hot cocoa bar to get everyone warmed up for a chilly sparkler exit!

We had SO much fun with their friends and family and we are so honored that we were able to share such a special day with you both!
