What a fun time we had with Jenny & Eric during their engagement session! They chose Lake Eola because they like coming here to walk around, and who can blame them? There are so many fun areas around the lake with a variety of restaurants and shopping. Lake Eola is an Orlando staple as it hosts many events and parades year round.

Jenny & Eric met at while at the University of Florida (go Gators!) Jenny was about to start her senior year while Eric was in his second year of Vet school. Around the same time, Jenny started her business Happy Day Design Co. (she’s an incredible graphic designer & artist, you should check her out!) where she sells her designs on a variety of items, such as keychains, wall art, stationery, calendars, etc. Eric quickly became a huge help in her small business right from the start.

Earlier this year, Eric proposed on the UF campus. He took Jenny to their “spot” around sunset, while their friends hid to take photos and videos. It’s so nice when everything comes full circle and a proposal is in such a sentimental spot!

Between Jenny’s design business and Eric’s job as a veterinarian, when they do get a moment off, they enjoy taking nature walks and hiking, visiting small businesses, watching Marvel, taking road trips, visiting botanical gardens, and kayaking together. They also enjoy playing with their cute puppy and Eric’s lizard.

At the end of our session, Jenny & Eric went along with my crazy idea to take all our camera equipment on a swan boat (probably not my finest hour 😆) BUT it made for some laughs and for me that’s worth everything! It got dark fairly quickly after a little bit of a wait, but the sun lingered just long enough 😉 (I’m ready to do it again btw! I’ll just bring less stuff next time 😛)
