It’s the week of your wedding, you check the forecast….CATEGORY 4 HURRICANE?! Not even Ian could ruin what was meant to be the perfect Florida wedding day for Courtney & Tyler. Courtney reached out before the hurricane hit like “you still coming?!” 🤣 Courtney was calm and positive all throughout the week which is so admirable considering a category 4 hurricane is headed straight for ya! THANKFULLY, their venue was untouched and had no damage or massive flooding! What a relief, as the show must go on!

We woke up Saturday (hot and powerless) to the perfect, breezy weather and headed out to Dade City. The energy from Courtney and the bridesmaids was wonderful, and they kept that hype up all throughout the day. They were all so, so helpful keeping her dress fluffed and crocs hidden LOL. 😝 I need these ladies at every wedding! Courtney did a bridesmaids reveal and a first look with her Dad before heading out to her first look with Tyler.

One of the most touching parts of the day was when Courtney showed her Mom the bouquet charm that had a photo of her late grandmother. Her grandmother was also honored at the reception with a candle and photo display. Honoring loved ones who could not be there is so special, and I recommend it!

The ceremony under the Florida Oaks with the sun perfectly beaming through the trees was just magical in every way! It was short and sweet, yet meaningful and fun…as it should be 😉

Courtney & Tyler did their first dance, then did their traditional parent dances but Courtney couldn’t leave one special person out. She surprised her Mom with a Mother-Daughter dance to the song that played in the hospital when her Mom gave birth to her. There wasn’t a single dry eye in sight!!

They continued on dancing under the stars to end the perfect wedding day. To have to worry about such a potential and tragic event in the days leading up to your wedding is s.t.r.e.s.s.f.u.l……but they handled it with optimism and grace and it worked out in their favor. They were going to get married rain or shine 😛

Courtney & Tyler, we are so incredibly happy for you as you start your new journey as husband and wife! Thank you for including us in your beautiful day, and we cannot wait to see what life has in store for you both! Cheers to the new Mr. & Mrs. Marciniak!
