We recently had the privilege of capturing Carrigan & Chris’ engagement session at the stunning Adams Estate in Lake Alfred, Florida, and we’re thrilled to share a glimpse into their love story. What makes this even more special is that they’re also getting married there in January 2024, and we are so excited for them!

Adams Estate, with its timeless elegance and picturesque landscapes, set the stage for an evening filled with fun moments and lots of laughs. If you didn’t know, Adams Estate is one of our favorite venues (with one of the best teams) so we always look forward to our time there and this night was no different.

Strolling hand in hand through the estate’s charming gardens, Carrigan and Chris brought their A-game. Their sweet smiles and playful banter revealed the depth of their affection for each other. You couldn’t help but be drawn into their world, and learn all the fun things about them! Like how Chris is a fellow mint chip lover 😛 and how all 4 of us are all fascinated by watching the gators swim around by the dock hahaha.

But there’s more to this story than just a beautiful venue for a backdrop and some mint chip ice cream. Carrigan and Chris shared with us the magical moment when Chris proposed on Christmas, and it involved a special Disney ornament that opens into a ring box. Wearing funny Christmas sweaters while being surrounded by family, it was a perfect night to be engaged! We captured the ornament with ring inside which you will see below 😊

The engagement session was filled with joy and laughter, shared stories, and a glimpse into their wedding plans. As photographers, it was an absolute pleasure to capture these authentic moments and the magnetic chemistry that Carrigan and Chris share.

We’re counting down the days to January when Carrigan and Chris will officially begin the next chapter of their love story at the Adams Estate. We’re honored to be a part of their journey and can’t wait to celebrate with them as they say their vows, surrounded by the same enchanting beauty that witnessed their engagement.
