Florida Estate Wedding | Sarah & Steven | Estate on the Halifax

What a day! Sarah & Steven had the most beautiful day at The Estate on the Halifax! If you’ve ever been there, you know there is so much variety in photo locations, and it makes for some beautiful portraits. Covered in greenery and stonework, the grounds make for the perfect spot for a wedding celebration too! Whether it’s the train car, Agatha’s house, the garden, the Chapel, or the main venue house, Estate on the Halifax does not disappoint!

Sarah & Steven (also known as Mac) met online. Sarah, being a traveling nurse, was new to Florida with only her dog, Miley, and her sister and her brother-in-law. Sarah wanted to bring Miley with her on her date with Mac, but being new to Florida, she quickly learned dogs are often not as welcomed here as they are on the west coast. Mac invited Sarah over to his house so she could bring Miley with her. Sarah joked that her sister had her location in case she wound up getting murdered They watched The Office and ate wings (which she says they do regularly now haha). Finally Mac reached the status of meeting Sarah’s family and Sarah’s best friend Keith, who claimed Sarah would marry Mac even before she knew it. When a best friend knows, a best friend knows!

It’s not often you get to see your future husband be a Father before marriage, as Sarah pointed out, so she has a slight advantage seeing Mac with his daughter, Lily. Lily is the sweetest, wittiest, sassiest lil lady I’ve ever met. Lily & Mac did a first look before the ceremony, and it is downright one of the sweetest moments of the day. The love he has for Lily is very apparent, but it’s also very apparent how much Sarah & Lily love each other as well. They are the best of friends!

The night went on with a full dance floor, a lot of laughs, and it ended with a private last dance and sparkler exit. It was the perfect way to end an amazing day for these two 🙂
