Granville Farms Wedding | Rebekah & Leslie | Lake Helen, Florida

Rebekah & Leslie had the most perfect weather on Saturday! The weeks leading up had been a bit chilly and rainy, but the sun showed up with our normal 80 degree Florida weather just for them.

Granville Farms is a beautiful, white farmhouse located in Lake Helen, Florida. Although, the name “Farms” is misleading because when you come into the venue, it doesn’t look like your typical barn. It’s very modern and light in color with a gorgeous, gray stone fireplace. It sits on 22 acres of beautiful land that makes for great photos and a stunning ceremony space.

The day started off with some beautiful details, including Rebekah’s ring, made by her Dad, who is in the jewelry industry. He also gifted her a pair of earrings for her wedding, which he gave to her during their first look. Her Mom also gifted her a bracelet during their getting ready time alone. I had a lot of fun photographing her Bagdley Mischka shoes, too 🙂 I can never get enough of pretty wedding day shoes!

Rebekah did a first look with just about everyone! First with her bridesmaids, then the groomsmen, her Dad and son and then of course with Leslie. It was so much fun to see all the reaction to how beautiful she looked!

One of my favorite parts of the day was Rebekah’s letter reading. Since we did video for this wedding, we encouraged them to write letters to one another for their film. Rebekah’s letter brought me to tears, as she fought back tears of her own. It’s apparent how much she truly loves and cares for Leslie and how appreciative she is for the way he has welcomed her and her son, Parker, into his life and heart.

Speaking of Parker, what a respectful and funny lil dude! He was SO happy for his mom and Les. You can tell Rebekah and Parker are the best of friends just by their relationship. They have a sweet handshake they do together too, which you’ll see below.. When he had his first look with his mom he said, “Is that really you? Are you my Mom?! You look like a model!” He made sure everyone knew how beautiful Rebekah looked. It was the sweetest thing ever! He was the first one on the dance floor and had everyone’s attention with those killer dance moves lol!

Their ceremony hit right at golden hour and had the most gorgeous light. I think it was a record breaking 3 minute ceremony too hahaha! They just couldn’t wait to party it up with all their loved ones. And when I say party it up, I mean PARTY IT UP! Their dance floor was active all night, between Parker and the bridal party, they definitely were a lively group!

At the end of the night, Rebekah gave me the sweetest note with the kindest words. I’ll never be able to express my appreciation and gratitude for the trust our couples put in us and the kind things they say. Her note brought me to tears (again) and it seems like she just has a way with words <3
