Disney is where it all started. Cortne had been working at Disney World for 10 years, up until recently when she decided to go full-time with her Cake Design business, LuBelle’s Cakes…which you’ve probably seen me talk about before because all her treats are just so dang good! She was a Pastry Chef at Disney’s Main Street Bakery after starting in their internship program in 2011. Eventually, a few years down the road, she wound up at the Polynesian Resort, where she met Julio, who was also a Chef there. The rest is {magical} history!

We’ve been trying to plan their engagement photos for quite sometime, but us all being in the wedding industry with this crazy backlog of weddings made that a bit difficult. Well, we finally made it happen! We started at the Polynesian Resort where these two lovebirds met and then made our way into Magic Kingdom. Do you know how hard it is to make a crowded theme park look empty?? Thankfully the four of us had a ton of patience and made it work!

Some of the most important parts were capturing the castle, getting a few photos sharing a dole whip, and of course, some at the Poly since it’s such an important part of their journey. All in all, we made the parks look pretty dang empty! What do you think?

Julio, of course, sported his Hawaiian shirt, to go along with their wedding theme! And Cortne looked cute as ever in her blue ruffled dress. They definite came ready with their A-game.

They got engaged on Cortne’s birthday in 2020 while on vacation alongside their family. They will have their romantic, tropical wedding in Hawaii this March, and we are SOOO excited to be a part of this journey with them. You will never meet a kinder duo than Cortne & Julio, and they deserve all the happiness that the world has to offer them <3
