You ever just meet someone and instantly click? That was Brittany & Tyler for us! The moment I met Brittany, it just felt like I had known her forever. She has such a welcoming and authentic personality, and it’s quite refreshing! Since we’re a few hours away, we hadn’t met Britt & Tyler prior to their wedding, but we became “friends” on Instagram and regularly spoke to one another during her wedding planning process.

I remember when Brittany got our welcome box, she messaged me on Instagram after reading our Bridal Guide and said “If I wasn’t already confident in you guys, I am now!” and I just about cried because that guide was so much work, and just knowing it was read and helped her made me so happy! She told me that our guide also changed her mind about doing a first look, and boy am I SO happy because thankfully it paid off on their wedding day! After their ceremony, the skies opened up and the rain came down pretty hard for a while, but because they chose to see each other beforehand, they got all their photos done and didn’t have to worry about it! This isn’t the first time that a first look has saved the day on a rainy wedding day, but I am just so thankful that our couples trust us to guide them throughout their planning. She even had invites sealed in an envelope for me when I arrived – she’s definitely going on my list of favorite people ever! 😉

I have to say, Tyler is such a breath of fresh air! His facial expressions throughout the entire day had us cracking up. He was the first one on the dance floor with his sunglasses, and he has so much good energy and a fun spirit. On his socks, he had his and Britt’s faces on a cartoon wedding dress and tux lol! During their first look, his reaction to seeing Brittany for the first time made it very apparent just how much love he has for her. His jaw actually dropped! I was the cutest thing ever. Watching the two of them interact was such a joy to witness first hand. Even though they did a first look and he had seen her all day up until 10 minutes before their ceremony began, he still teared up at the altar as he waited for her to walk down. He still got his aisle moment!

Rain or shine, their day was truly beautiful. Their ceremony was set up on the dock, and the views were breathtaking, even the lightning off in the distance was pretty. The palm trees, sand, and Tiki torches lined the pathway really made it seem like a tropical island instead of Florida! Even though they didn’t have many guests, the amount of love from the people who attended filled the space more than any large crowd ever could. There was so much love in the air for these two and it’s just a testament of how wonderful they are, and hearing their friends talk about them in their reception speeches just confirmed that. Their entire families were so welcoming and appreciative and overall just so much fun to spend the day with! Their reception was moved inside due to the weather, but that really didn’t stop anyone from having a blast. Brittany and Tyler were both on the dance floor just about the entire night! Their special parent dances not only involved Tyler’s Mom and Brittany’s Dad, but Brittany also danced with her Step-Dad and her Mom, and even had her sister join in too! Sometimes you have to throw away tradition and do what works best for your family dynamic and include all the people you love!

One of the highlights of the day was their “Flower Dude”. He really made an entrance and it was a total surprise for everyone! He blew rose petal kisses to the audience hahahah! If you are a fun couple and have some fun friends, this is a really neat trend that you can totally get some ceremony laughs from!
