As many other couples this year did, Kimberly and Jamie had to reschedule their wedding day due to COVID-19. They were supposed to be married in April, but has to push their day out. Turns out the weather on April 25 was awful, but absolutely beautiful on their new day! Ironic how that works out huh?
Field Manor is a historical preservation on Merritt Island, FL built in 1880. Known for their museum and grove, they actually also host weddings and events right on the Indian River! Located right on the water facing west, just about every day ends with a beautiful sunset… except for this day of course! The night before their wedding, they did a walk through rehearsal and had the most amazing sunset! The weather was projected to be rainy with a potential hurricane but I am so happy we missed all of that. I’ll sacrifice a beautiful sunset for no rain any day!
One of my favorite parts of the wedding day is to see the dresses my brides chose. Of course Kim chose my favorite kind of gown, a ballgown! Her bridesmaids each wore a different blush gown with different patterns of sequences. It was SO pretty and I love that she mixed each girl’s look! Before they got ready though, we just HAD to do a obligatory #JenniferNicoleConfetti shot! I mean are you even a #JenniferNicoleBride if you don’t specifically request it?!
Their nautical themed wedding had all the pretty details with blush, pink, white and gold accents and shipwreck wood through out! Jamie and Kimberly love to go fishing together, so what a perfect theme to celebrate their love! Jamie and his boys arrived on his boat. They threw the anchor, jumped out in their fishing waders and waded up to the ceremony to the song “Sharp Dressed Man” by ZZ Top and I’ve honestly never seen such a badass entrance in all my career!! They threw their dress shoes and suit jackets on and Jamie was READY to see his beautiful bride!!
Kimberly & Jamie included some very sentimental details in honor of Jamie’s Mother who passed away last year. It was an emotional day honoring her memory. Kimberly had gifted Jamie with a pin to wear that had her photo on it. As someone who didn’t have some of my favorite family members at my wedding, I know how much that meant to him to receive such a beautiful gift! I know his Mom was right there with him celebrating the most important day of this life.
In Jamie’s letter to Kimberly, he reminisced on their first time meeting. Kimberly was wearing a neon yellow cheetah shirt and I mean I guess it was love at first site LOL! I’m not surprised though, with Kimberly’s bubbly personality, I can definitely see her rocking a neon yellow cheetah shirt 😛
All in all, November 7th will forever be a special day for Kimberly & Jamie… they day they FINALLY got married! COVID may have put a delay in their plans, but nothing was going to stop these two from celebrating their love with all those they love the most.
Here are a few more sneak peek images and…. a surprise!!! trailer film! We hope this hurricane (in November? seriously? how 2020 *eye roll*) doesn’t spoil your honeymoon too much and are able to enjoy your time together as husband and wife! Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Richards!!!
