I had the absolute pleasure of helping Melissa & Miguel welcome their first child, a son, into the world! Elijah made his appearance mid-COVID quarantine and I guess you can’t blame Mom and Dad for wanting an extra quarantine buddy!

Their home had an absolutely perfect amount of natural light (a photographer’s dream!) which made my job even easier. Of all the newborn sessions I’ve done, Elijah did such a good job of being a cooperative little guy. I even got a smile – I think? Maybe he was just happy his tummy was empty 😉 Once we got him wrapped in the blanket Grandma gave him, he was the most comfortable he’d been since I arrived. 

This was one of my first sessions back after being cooped up in the house for so many weeks so it was such a pleasure to get out and be trusted with such an important time for this sweet family. Mom & Dad beamed with joy and delight and rightfully so, Elijah is a handsome little guy. Thank you for welcoming me into your home, Melissa & Miguel! I can’t wait to see your little guy grow!
